Who are we?
The “Inspire Lagos Food Market” initiative is a transformative project aimed at alleviating food insecurity in Lagos, happening on weekends, on a rotational basis at different local government areas in Lagos State, one market day at a time. This initiative strives to significantly make essential food commodities accessible for at least half the retail market prices, for a targeted 1000 – 5000 families from each LGAs in Lagos. With a vision to foster community resilience and combat economic challenges, the project engages stakeholders, local brands, NGOs, vendors, companies, and the Lagos State Government in sustainable partnerships. The overarching goal is creating a model that not only addresses immediate needs of offering affordable food but also empowering communities through collaboration and ownership, ensuring long-term sustainability.
